Background
A graduate of University of Southern California’s School of Cinema-Television, Bryan Burk began his career working with producers Brad Weston at Columbia Pictures, Ned Tanen at Sony Pictures and John Davis. In 1995, Burk joined Gerber Pictures, where he helped develop the Emmy-nominated TV movie “James Dean.”
In 2001, Burk joined J.J. Abrams on the Emmy-winning “Alias,” where he served as a co-producer for its entire five-season run. Together, Burk and Abrams formed Bad Robot Productions at Touchstone Television, where he executive-produced “Six Degrees,” “What About Brian” and the Golden Globe and Emmy Award-winning drama LOST. Burk and Abrams have extended their partnership into the feature film arena, producing “Cloverfield” and “Star Trek”.
