Cortexiphan was also used in the parallel universe
| Described Hypothesis:
| Cortexiphan was also used to enhance people's abilities in the alternate universe, possibly because Walternate also was preparing for the coming war.
| Supporting Facts And Supporting Evidence:
- In the episode The Road Not Taken, when Olivia briefly visits the alternate Fringe division, Susan Pratt and Nancy Lewis also had the same (or a similar) accident in the other universe as the one Susan Pratt had in our universe. In our universe, this was a result of Walter and Bell's Cortexiphan experiments. Could Walternate have done the same over there? – Fred 13:55, 1 December 2010 (MST)

| Contradictory Facts and Contradictory Evidence:
- Secretary Bishop and Brandon do not recognize (Amber 31422) the synthetic compound in Olivia's brain as Cortexiphan, or its' equivalent. It is unlikely they were using it to enhance abilities in their own test subjects. - –DocH– my edits
- Nothing suggests that the charred twins had any ability. Our pyrokinetic victim could have burned-through and caused the deaths in the alternate universe. (3 birds w/ 1 stone) Much the same way pyro-Sally and Nick disappeared from the ambush on the bridge (Over There, Part 1). - –DocH– my edits

How many Cortexiphan test subjects are there?
| Described Hypothesis:
| Total number of test subjects is 60-70. 18 confirmed from Florida, dozen more (Broyles) which would give 30, and Walter mentions 37, which could not cover both Florida & Ohio, so that number is most probably total number of test subjects in Florida.
| Supporting Facts And Supporting Evidence:
- In the episode Subject 9 Walter gives number of 37 subjects. Citation from episode transcript: If I hadn't experimented with Cortexiphan, then none of this would be happening. Thirty-seven innocent children, and I just turned you into numbers, numbers in my head. I didn't follow up on a single child -- not even you. --Vitomir 17:15, 19 November 2011 (MST)
- In the episode Olivia. In The Lab. With The Revolver. Broyles gives these two numbers. Citation from episode transcript: Aside from Olivia Dunham, there are still nearly a dozen unaccounted for people from the Jacksonville experiments, and thirty more from the drug trials in Wooster. --Vitomir 17:15, 19 November 2011 (MST)
| Contradictory Facts and Contradictory Evidence:
- Nothing, just fact that exact number is still unknown and episode Subject 9 is taking place in rewritten history (orange intro of episode, not blue) - there is no Peter, so it may differ from prime Universe number of test subjects. --Vitomir 17:15, 19 November 2011 (MST)

- Remarks -
Not A Valid Theory. Theory doesn't have a question mark at the end. And as asked, it would be too broad. A proper theory would be "there are ## number of test subjects in the current timeline." (or previous timeline). Supporting data will confirm/deny your assumptive posture. - "How many are there?" is a question... not a statement of potential accuracy. –DocH– my edits Read this.
