David Jones is the "Gentleman"
Described Hypothesis:
David Robert Jones could actually be the Gentleman being referred in the episode "In Which We Meet Mr. Jones" --Gigastric3 04:43, 19 December 2008
     Supporting Facts And Supporting Evidence:
  1. This is present in the fact that he used Little Hill Field as the place he was teleported to. --Gigastric3 04:43, 19 December 2008
  2. He also has a thing for nice suits, something gentleman in the traditional sense would love to wear. --Gigastric3 04:43, 19 December 2008
     Contradictory Facts and Contradictory Evidence:
  1. Jones needed to get the answer to the question of where the Gentleman lived from an outside source. If he were the Gentleman, then it is likely that he would know the answer himself. --Rpdrake 04:36, 30 December 2010

David Jones is still alive
Described Hypothesis:
Because of molecular reasons, i.e. his atoms & molecules might not have been as closely linked atfer teleportation. However, this also could be because of a breakdown in his cells, making his body a more 'homogeneous' mix, i.e. his vital organs have dissolved into one solid mass of 'goo', making him more of a uni-celled creature, like an amoeba-- bullets might put holes in him, but with no blood, no nerves, no vital organs to harm, such holes would be meaningless.

If this is the case, then like an amoeba or a planarian worm, cutting his body in half might not be lethal-- in fact, both halves might still be alive, and might both still carry some degree of his memories and intellect. -- originally posted by HarveyMidnight

     Supporting Facts And Supporting Evidence:
  1. In 'There's More Than One Of Everything', Jones survived being shot because bullets passed right through his body without harming him. -- originally posted by HarveyMidnight
     Contradictory Facts and Contradictory Evidence:
  1. When Jones' body fell to the ground, he neither moved nor showed any signs of life.
