- Doctor Miller is a psychiatrist at St. Judes for five years (counting from the time of Bad Dreams). She describes Nick Lane as hyper-emotive, suicidal and suffers from delusion, believing that he had been recruited as a child to become a soldier against the threat of a parallel universe.
