Question.png This page contains semi-canon information.
Semi-canon, or partial canon, describes information garnered from sources other than the originally aired episode... sources that are likely to contain references and material provided by both the Creative-Staff and by persons officially associated with the production, distribution, marketing, etc… While it is fully expected that the Creative-Staff had some input into the semi-canon source, FringePedia does not consider the information a part of, or an augmentation to the FRINGE storyline. Explicit communication from the Creative-Staff on any specific semi-canon issue, is the only method to elevate semi-canon to canon, or FringePedia fact.

"The Escape" returns to Bell and Bishop in Alaska. Matheson has ulterior motives and teleportation is the only way out.

"Run Away" exposes an infant with odd powers. As a young teen he flees, and lands in New York.

Synopsis - The Escape

Belly & Walter Get Free
Back in the secret Alaskan facility, Dr. Matheson reveals that its a black ops project aimed at bringing together the world's greatest minds. When William Bell questions her loyalties, she invites Walter to read her mind. Matheson and Walter enter tubs of water (similar to the show's "tank") and share consciousness, where Walter sees that Matheson is being held here against her will.

However, William's suspicions prove correct when Matheson's memories were planted, and that the mind-meld was just a way for her to unlock the knowledge inside Walter's brain. Matheson lures Walter and William into the teleporter, where Walter uses the quartz crystal in his watch to fix the teleportation device. The facility's security team congratulates Matheson on tricking the boys, but then she turns the gun on them, and the teleportation capsule disappears. They're transported to an unknown wilderness, where they discover that Matheson was shot during the escape. Someone calls the President of the United States to inform him that Bishop and Bell are being tracked, and one of them was "implanted". The President says to "activate him" when the time is right.

Synopsis - Run Away

This Kid Will Make You Sick

A mysterious infant causes the sudden deaths of his parents, who vomit blood when they touch him. One of the cops who discovers him succumbs to the same sickness, along with a paramedic and a nurse at the hospital. Finally, a mysterious group of men come to take the baby away in a quarantined container. The child is raised in captivity by observing scientists, who keep him in a quarantined suit and try to unlock his powers. However, as an adolescent, he escapes the facility and finds himself in Manhattan, ready to experience the real world, but lethal to anyone who touches him.
