Glatterflug Airlines is an airline company (presumably German) that operates trans-Atlantic flights from Germany to the United States. Flight 627, from Hamburg to Boston, has emblems (Pilot) in the center of its' engine intakes that suggest Massive Dynamic built the engines for the aircraft.
No characters in the show have officially represented the airline, other than the flight crew.
The ticket(s) Olivia holds (In Which We Meet Mr. Jones) in the Frankfurt Airport prior to departure have a Glatterflug logo on them, suggesting that the fictional airline has at least two trans-Altantic routes between Europe and North America.

- "Glatter" is a German adjective which may be translated as glossier, slicker or smoother. "Flug" is a German noun which may be translated as "flight", "air flight" or "plane ride". There is no direct translation of Glatterflug, however "glatter (adj.) Flug" can be translated as "safe and comfortable flight" ( "Ich wünsch dir einen glatten Flug" is a phrase used by Luftwaffenpiloten (Air Force pilots) just before takeoff)
