BUSTED!
The Beacon
Described Hypothesis:
The Desirable Object is The Beacon --LabGo 03:13, 26 September 2009 (UTC)
     Supporting Facts And Supporting Evidence:
  1. The shape of the fishing lure (i.e. Night of Desirable Object) is that of The Beacon. --LabGo 03:13, 26 September 2009 (UTC)
  2. There are clear references to underground tunnels in Night Of Desirable Objects, including one in a grave that is nicely cylindrical. In The Arrival The Beacon was hidden in a grave. This could be a clue. --LabGo 03:13, 26 September 2009 (UTC)
  3. Olivia remembers that something is hidden. --LabGo 03:13, 26 September 2009 (UTC)
  4. In The Arrival, John Mosley attempted to get at The Beacon using fancy equipment such as a mind probing device and a strange weapon. Perhaps Mosley is on the same side as the Shape Changer who is also after The Beacon and uses unknown technology. --LabGo 03:13, 26 September 2009 (UTC)
     Contradictory Facts and Contradictory Evidence:
  1. Nothing, to date, supports Mosley and the Shape Changer working for the same side. The only similarity is that they are willing assassins. –DocH my edits 15:22, 30 September 2009 (UTC)
  2. Nothing in the three episodes where the Shape Changer has played a role, supports the allegation that he is seeking the Beacon. His sole actions have been to assassinate, interrogate and/or facilitate rememberance. –DocH my edits 15:22, 30 September 2009 (UTC)

BUSTED!
The Shapechanger
Described Hypothesis:
The Shapechanger is in physical pain from bullet wounds. --Jnwrx1 17:28, 30 September 2009 (UTC)
     Supporting Facts And Supporting Evidence:
  1. Even though he has taken on the appearance of Charlie, the shapeshifter was shot in the previous episode and his body is clearly still carrying the wounds even though the appearance has changed. --Jnwrx1 07:22, 30 September 2009 (UTC)
     Contradictory Facts and Contradictory Evidence:
  1. Continual body transformation cannot be ultimately perfect, and therefore has an "expiration date". A human body could not just continually change shape so many times without physical repercussions. --   The Atomic Mystro    talk    contribs   13:55, 30 September 2009 (UTC)
  2. Walter has said several times that travel across dimensional walls causes physical problems.--Williamwilsongoodsonjr 02:42, 6 October 2009 (UTC)

BUSTED!
The Shapechanger
Described Hypothesis:
The Shapechanger is in physical pain from frequent shapeshifting. (sign here if this reflects your theory)
     Supporting Facts And Supporting Evidence:
  1. Continual body transformation cannot be ultimately perfect, and therefore has an "expiration date". A human body could not just continually change shape so many times without physical repercussions. --   The Atomic Mystro    talk    contribs   13:55, 30 September 2009 (UTC)

BUSTED!
'The Scarecrow'
Described Hypothesis:
As per The Wizard of Oz, Dorothy meets the scarecrow, then the Tin Man, the scarecrow in "Night of Desirable Objects" is a clue to the Tin Man Project in the next episode.-Pandaman
     Supporting Facts And Supporting Evidence:
  1. Peter suggests that they ask the scarecrow what happened to the construction worker, Raymond.-Pandaman
     Contradictory Facts and Contradictory Evidence:
  1. This theory is ambiguous at best.

BUSTED!
Why have there been no disappearances earlier
Described Hypothesis:
It seems young Hughes has been on the loose for almost seventeen years. He was until recently too small and weak to risk attacking a full grown human. He has probably lived on animals from rats up to racoons. --Williamwilsongoodsonjr 02:39, 6 October 2009 (UTC)
     Supporting Facts And Supporting Evidence:
  1. He escaped into the wild from his supposed grave as an infant.
     Contradictory Facts and Contradictory Evidence:
  1. Disapperances longer apart might not have draw much attention.

BUSTED!
Andre Hughes was professionally associated with Walter twenty years ago.
Described Hypothesis:
Andre Hughes is a geneticist who has been retired for twenty years. If his work was associated with Walter's this would at least provide a tangible link between the events of this episode and other pattern events. --Jnwrx1 02:47, 25 November 2009 (UTC)
     Supporting Facts And Supporting Evidence:
  1. Walter states that Hughes' research focused on reproductive biology and gene replacement, which would have certainly given him skills and knowledge of interest to those in charge of the same government projects Walter worked on and could very likely be why he retired if some of the research they did produced destructive results.
