The Numbers
- Is it possible that The Numbers from LOST appear in this episode? I know I heard 4 and 16, and this was the 15th episode. I'm not sure if I could hear or see the others (8, 23, and 42), but I felt like they were throwing them at us. With the abundance of glyphs showing up, I have a strong feeling that The Numbers would be here too. -- The Atomic Mystro talk contribs 17:31, 5 February 2010 (UTC)
- - I checked all the numbers after you brought it up... and no. The transcripts say no - now, unless they appear visually, it could still be. –DocH– my edits 03:02, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
UAQ
- Why didn't Peter sparkle when Olivia... From what I understand, Olivia's vision did not kick in as soon as she realized that she is afraid. That's why it takes her awhile to look out to the city and find the building that is going to teleport to the alter-universe. -- Xerophytes Talk | Contribs 07:49, 6 February 2010 (UTC)
- - They used the term glimmer. Teleport was what D.R.Jones did... the trans-universe thing was referred to as "soft-spots" and "portal". But, I agree. ???"From what I understand"??? Had you not seen the show when you made the comment above? –DocH– my edits 03:02, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
- - That is what the UAQ before says so, and I just quoted on that. I should have copied the whole thing. Sorry for the incorrect use of "proper" terms. -- Xerophytes Talk | Contribs 05:46, 7 February 2010 (UTC)
The Glasses
- Someone mentioned this and I thought it's worth a mention on the talk page - when Walter puts on the old glasses and looks into the metal tray, does anyone else get the feeling that this is supposed to remind us of Bell? (Maybe the glasses are Bell's?) Especially right before they cut away, and he frowns...there is definitely a resemblence to Nimoy, and the warpage of the tray probably helps the effect. It would fall in line with the idea that Bell & Walter might be the same person, related, etc. (same initials, etc.).--Aswvwl21 02:02, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
- - They could be brothers - "of a different mother". Daddy Bishop (Bischoff) was a pill of a guy. We also saw an ol' dude drop his glasses as he left the hotel that disappeared at the end of the epi. Maybe that was ol' Bell/Bishop. -- –DocH– my edits 03:03, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
- - Interesting theory. That could suggest that maybe the buildings being transferred between universes weren't just because of mass - if two buildings were really close to the same mass, which one would get precedence? Maybe the balance is mass, but also the universes trying to get certain people BACK into their appropriate realities. --Aswvwl21 21:41, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
- - Or the guy fleeing the hotel could have been the alternate "Alfred Hoffman" - someone who never took the longevity (anti-age) treatment in the mid-1900's. Too early for solid theory... nothing to go on other than speculation, but they do say that there is no waste when they put something on the show... so the guy dropping his glasses means something. -- –DocH– my edits 22:23, 8 April 2010 (UTC)
