Subsidiaries
- How important are the MD subsidiaries to the story line?
- Do we need a page for every subsidiary? One page for all the subsidiaries?
- If we break them down, do MD accomplishments get put on the MD page or on the subsidiary page?
- What are the other questions?
Massive Dynamic Webpage
- The main page is a flash movie. After the start music, a low-volume repetitive sound is heard. May it be something?
- The employee login page might not work by now: the source code shows that is programmed to display always a login incorrect message.
- That sound that´s heard after the start music sound like a very fast beat of a hart, doesn´t it?
MassiveDynamic.com Canon?
I just uploaded the
Massive Dynamic business card from
The Dreamscape. Since
MassiveDynamic.com is mentioned in the show, does that now make the website officially cannon?

- I'd say only if the site is run by J.J. and company.--Jim 21:00, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
- What website? He has an email address listed on his business card, not a website (+1-877). The screencap is definitely canon about the fictional corporation and Young. The real-world website remains in the realm of 'less than canon' until the creative staff elevates information there to canon. (JMHO) –DocH– my edits 22:14, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
Canon: Massive Dynamic
- Should I include experimental and research projects which clearly ties with MD in the show; ie the (Carson-)Penrose Project? -- Xerophytes Talk | Contribs 16:55, 30 June 2010 (UTC)
- - That one for sure since Nina emailed William about it. Plus the Virtual Reality flying stuff that Dr. Carson was working on. -- –DocH– my edits 19:09, 30 June 2010 (UTC)
Division
- Do you think it will be better to separate the canon from "semi-canon" in the page (via different header)? -- Xerophytes Talk | Contribs 17:02, 30 June 2010 (UTC)
- - That is a tough project. Every fact has to be double-checked all the way back to Comic-Con, the Pilot and the pre-comics. If you are up to it, go ahead. Scientific method to insure accuracy. -- –DocH– my edits 19:09, 30 June 2010 (UTC)
Unanswered Question
- Now that we know, according to Bell, that there is no MD in the parallel universe, do we remove it from the unanswered question? (Also applicable in general: do we remove unanswered questions that ultimately get answered?) -- Xerophytes Talk | Contribs 17:05, 30 June 2010 (UTC)
- - Bell and MD? Remove the UAQ. But, you have to answer the question up on the main part of the page. "Bell ... confirmed {{crosref|### etc... that MassD was never ... in alt univ..." or something like that. Remember, you are basing the "Answer" to the UAQ on the testimony of a single man that has been known to mislead, withhold information, live a covert life, etc... you might want to wait for confirmation of the answer. Better yet - change the UAQ to "Is there no Massive Dynamic in the alternate universe, as William Bell suggest?" This identifies his claim and questions it at the same time. –DocH– my edits
- - Removing UAQs. For most pages, UAQs that are answered are incorporated in the main body of the page. Make sure that the show actually answered the UAQ and that it you haven't just talked yourself (opinion) or theorized yourself into an answer. The deal with episode pages is to leave a "valid" UAQ in-place. We had a rash of users removing valid UAQs from episodes last year once the answer was revealed in a later episode. That's wrong... the Episode Page is an "Archive" for that episode. Anybody watching that episode for the first time, then reading the Fringepedia Ep Page, might have those same valid UAQs in their mind. We don't want to rob them of the full reading/viewing experience. The ep page is a snapshot of the episode... not a running commentary on plot threads between the Episodes. I have been reviewing edits on the older episode pages and restoring "valid" UAQs as need be. –DocH– my edits 19:09, 30 June 2010 (UTC)
General Dynamics
Is Massive Dynamic in any way related to the real life company, General Dynamics? They're really similar in concept so it sounds like it could be. --User:Akihironihongo 20:24, 6 May 2012 (MST)
- - I think the fictional company is massive, while the non-fictional company is not. MassDyn seems more science and R&D oriented while GenDyn just builds stuff for Generals (military). –DocH– my edits
