Officer at time 4:58
Wasn't this the women officer that shot herself in the head in Episode 207 at about 2:20? --—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Dopecasa (talk • contribs) .
- - No. Doesn't appear that way. 4:58 is left-handed, hazel eyes, brunette and about ten years younger. 2:20 is right-handed, dark brown eyes and much darker hairer. The insignia/badges differ and their shoulder microphones are on opposite sides. Irene Karas played the officer that was murdered in ep207. Actress Tracy Breemer (McMahon) played the cop in ep213. WHY would they reanimate/resurrect a very minor role and bring back an insignificant dead character - and then not even use the same actress that played the original part? -- –DocH– my edits
Courier's Tattoo
Has anyone been able to get a still of the courier's tattoo? I haven't been able to capture the image clear enough. It seems like it might be important, seeing as how the camera shot was nothing more than his legs as he entered the building. -- The Atomic Mystro talk contribs 03:36, 23 January 2010 (UTC)
- - I haven't seen a good (study-able) screencap yet. Maybe the 'legs only' shot was dramatic effect - telling us that this is a guy that moves (ride/walk) for his living. –DocH– my edits
- -- They deliberately showed that one pant leg was rolled up (revealing the tattoo). This would have been unnecessary if they just wanted us to know he made his living on his feet. A nice capture of the tattoo might answer these questions. If the tattoo is nothing essential, then your "maybe" would be more "fact". But, if the tattoo seems to link certain aspects of the show, then the legs-only shot was deliberate. -- The Atomic Mystro talk contribs 23:30, 23 January 2010 (UTC)
- - Not much to see...--LabGo 00:58, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
- - I am not saying the tattoo isn't relevant. Do you ride a bike much? Long, loose pants (like the courier) on the right side, where the chain rotates, frequently gets caught in the chain. It is completely normal to see a bike courier with the right pant leg rolled-up... though many use a clip system or 'gator' to hold down the potential for snagging. - - At first, I thought that he has some sort of wound in his leg and it was the point of entry of the virus. But it was not that, since he did the mouth-to-mouth resuscitation. -- Xerophytes Talk | Contribs 06:56, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
- - I think I have to agree with -DocH- about the leg shot telling us the guy road a bike. But how about this, since he is referred to later in the show as "the Courier" and we are seeing him from the back in this shot, they could merely have been reinforcing the idea that this was a bike riding courier (having to roll up one pant leg due to grease on that side of a bike) and the tattoo was just a coincidental red herring. Maybe the legs only/pants-rolled-up-on-the-right-side shot was deliberate, but not to reveal the tattoo. They did seem to spend a lot of time on that shot didn't they!-- waterlilys 14:31, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
UAQ
- - Thanks for refining my UAQ, I completely missed the report of the whereabouts of Solum Oil. I think the question on the method of transfer of the pathogen should be reworded, we saw Peter touching the blood, and it is one of the means of the viral transfer. However, some of the office workers were not infected when they were nearby the dying Radjan? If I remember it right, the guy who insisted that he was no way near the victim was infected with the vaporized blood. -- Xerophytes Talk | Contribs 06:56, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
- - Virulent Pathogen! - You don't need to be there when the guy erupted - he misted - think humidifier, a tiny drop of misted blood, on any surface, could have been transfered to anywhere in the office, by anybody. People nearby and not dying can happen too, if they have an immunity already. Solum HQ wasn't identified - just the project in Pioneer Valley, MA. -- –DocH– my edits 23:27, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
- - Another question, do you guys think Radjan's flight from Dubai important? Or it was merely saying that Radjan did not get the soil sample from Dubai? -- Xerophytes Talk | Contribs 06:59, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
- - Dubai is an oil producing/exporting nation. Vandenkemp is in the oil business. He is Dutch, and they are big in the oil/science business (Shell). Dubai may be a connection, but it may just be where he was doing business that week. I think that his Euro connection may be more important, seeing as many of the ZFT baddies have roots there. -- –DocH– my edits 23:27, 24 January 2010 (UTC)

- - Magellan files seen in the Harkness library could be the next episode clue for this episode. -- Xerophytes Talk | Contribs 07:11, 27 January 2010 (UTC)
- - I ran a larger pic (480x320) at a 1.5 ratio, like Season 1 std. This is a real good candidate... foreshadowing the tale to the children about Magellan, and his paying the price for opening new doors. -- –DocH– my edits 08:55, 27 January 2010 (UTC)
